Posted by Israel The Federal High Court in Lagos has ordered that the $38million, N23million and £27,000, recovered by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in a residential building located at Osborne Towers, Ikoyi be temporarily forfeited to the Nigerian government.  In a ruling presided by Justice Muslim Hassan this afternoon, he ordered that the funds be handed over to the Federal Government pending when the owner surfaces to make a court case against the order. The case was adjourned until  May 5, 2017 .

On Tuesday evening, the internet discovered a new commercial/short film that Pepsi had uploaded to YouTube. Starring Kendall Jenner, the commercial appears to draw inspiration from the countless marches and protests that have taken place over the past several years, with Jenner seemingly recreating an iconic photograph  from a Black Lives Matter rally in Baton Rogue by handing a police office a can of Pepsi.       Whether or not this commercial is truly “outrageous” or “offensive” is up for debate, but it’s certainly one of the more cynical ads that has ever appeared on television.
